On Friday, 11th of April 2025, we launched the Cabra Community Needs Assessment with an exhibition at The Atrium in Deaf Village Ireland in Cabra. The research is available to view and download in PDF below.
“On behalf of the Dublin Northwest Partnership (DNP), we are delighted to present this report which outlines findings of Dr. Maria Quinlan’s research into the needs of the Cabra community. We would like to thank Dr. Maria Quinlan for the rigor in which she undertook this research, in particular the way in which she led the training of members of the Cabra Child and Family Support Network in this area to amplify the voice of those living and working within the community through the photovoice methodology. We would like to thank all of the residents and community groups who gave of their time and energy in participating in the research and expressing their experience of living and working in Cabra. This report presents the voice of the community, and it is important that their views are aired and acknowledged so that we can fully understand the experience and perspectives of residents.”
