Tús
Tús is a community work placement initiative that offers quality work placement opportunities to people who have been unemployed and on the live register for at least 12 months.
All Tús work placements are within local community groups and not-for-profit organisations who, in turn, benefit from the skills and experience of Tús participants and allowing them to continue to deliver much needed services in the local area.
Dublin Northwest Partnership delivers the Tús Community Work Placement Initiative on behalf of the Department of Social Protection. (DSP)

- The person works for 19.5 hours per week in return for their social welfare payments with an additional top-up
- Tús positions include: Admin/Clerical Work, Caretaking, Childcare/Youth Work, Community Garden/Horticulture, Retail

Who can host a Tús placement?
Community groups and not-for-profit organisations can host a Tús placement.
